New music docuseries ‘My Tribe’ (Mo Threibh) aired recently on RTÉ, exploring music subcultures in Ireland. The four part series focused on a number of musical movements including Mod, Teddyboy, Rock, Rockabilly, Skinhead, Punk and Metal.
‘Katie’ the documentary by Ross Whitaker about Irish boxer Katie Taylor will have its Irish Television premiere on Tuesday, 15th January at 22.15 on RTÉ. The documentary follows Taylor and her career, family life and her turn towards a pro career. A truly superb film and one to tune in for! Includes music from Lisa Hannigan, Talos, AE Mak and Rosie Carney
The eerie new trailer for Lee Cronin’s ‘The Hole in the Ground’ has landed and it’s bound to send a chill up your spine! The Irish horror film will premiere at this years Sundance Film Festival and then will be released in Ireland and the UK on March 1st. The trailer features a beautiful and haunting version of “Weile Waile” by Lisa Hannigan. Check it out here.

The promo features Motley Crue’s “Home Sweet Home” and promotes the ‘Adopt Don’t Shop’ animal adoption campaign. Motley Crue generously donated their fee to help animal rescue. Nominated for 7 awards, 'The Young Offenders' TV series was one of this years big winners at the IFTA 2018 Gala awards honoring Irish Television. Creator of the series, Peter Foott won 'Best Director' while Chris Walley nabbed 'Best Actor' honors. Congrats to both!
'The Young Offenders' TV Series will premiere on Thursday, February 1st on BBC 3 and beginning airing on RTÉ soon after! The TV series is spinoff from the successful film and continues to follow lovable rogues Conor MacSweeney and Jock O'Keeffe.
